Are you eligible for UP CNET 2026?
Eligibility varies slightly depending on the course you are choosing. Here are the basic requirements for B.Sc Nursing:
- Age Limit: You must be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2026. The maximum age is 35 years (relaxation for reserved categories as per rules).
- Qualification: You must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
- Minimum Marks: General candidates need at least 45% marks in PCB combined. For SC/ST/OBC, the minimum is 40%.
- Mandatory Subject: Passing in English individually is compulsory for all candidates.
How much is the Application Fee?
The application fee for UP CNET is a bit on the higher side, so make sure you check your eligibility before paying. The fee is non-refundable.

What is the Exam Pattern?
The exam will be held in offline mode (OMR based). Understanding the pattern is the first step to cracking the exam:

- Total Questions: 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Subjects: Nursing Aptitude (20%), Physics (20%), Chemistry (20%), Biology (20%), and English & General Knowledge (20%).
