What is the Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit?

Before filling the form, you must check whether you fulfill the education and age criteria. Here is what you need:

1. Mandatory Qualification: You must have a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 Scorecard. Candidates with zero or negative marks cannot apply.
2. Educational Degree: You must hold a Bachelor's Degree (Graduation) in any stream from a recognized university. (If you are an unpaid departmental employee of Home Guards, passing Intermediate 12th is enough).
3. Age Limit (As on 01-07-2026): Your minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age should not cross 40 years. Age relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC candidates will be given as per UP government rules.

Preferential Qualification: If you have served in the Territorial Army for 2 years, or hold an NCC 'B' Certificate, or worked in Home Guards for 3 years, you will get preference during a tie-break situation.

What is the Application Fee for all Categories?

The commission has kept a very minimal processing fee for the initial registration phase. Every applicant needs to pay the same nominal amount online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

What is the Selection Process for these Posts?

The selection will be done through multiple stages. You need to qualify every stage to clear the final merit list:

• Stage 1: Shortlisting based on UPSSSC PET 2025 normalization score (around 15 times the total vacancies will be called).
• Stage 2: Main Written Examination (100 Marks objective questions covering General Knowledge, Computer Knowledge, and UP General Info).
• Stage 3: Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET running of 4.8 km for males and 2.4 km for females).
• Stage 4: Document Verification (DV) and Medical Checkup.
