What is the UPSRTC Bus Conductor Recruitment 2026?

Basically, UPSRTC is hiring thousands of candidates to work as bus conductors across various districts in UP. Currently, there are two types of hiring going on: one is the general outsource recruitment for over 1000+ posts, and another special drive for 2,584 Female Conductors. Most of these jobs are on a contract (Samvida) basis, meaning you will be paid based on the kilometers you travel and other allowances.

Am I Eligible for this Conductor Job?

To apply for this vacancy, you don't need a heavy degree. The requirements are simple but mandatory. If you miss even one, your form might get rejected.

• Education: You must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from any recognized board.
• Technical Skill: A CCC Certificate from NIELIT is absolutely compulsory.
• Age Limit: Generally 18 to 40 years. However, some districts allow up to 45 years for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC).
• Special Weightage: If you have NCC 'B' certificate, NSS certificate, or Scout & Guide awards, you will get a 5% bonus in your merit marks!

How much Salary will a UPSRTC Conductor get?

Since these are contractual posts, the salary structure is a bit different. You usually get a base pay between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000. For female conductors, the pay is calculated at approx Rs. 2.16 per kilometer. If you complete 5,000 km in 22 days, you can even earn an extra incentive of Rs. 3,000! Plus, you get EPF benefits and free travel passes.
