Who is Eligible to Apply for RRB Technician Vacancies?

2. Age Limit (As on 01-07-2026):

  • Technician Grade I Signal: 18 to 33 Years
  • Technician Grade III: 18 to 30 Years
  • Note: Age relaxation extra will be provided for SC/ST (5 years) and OBC-NCL (3 years) as per government rules.

What is the Application Fee Structure for RRB CEN 02/2026?

The application fees must be submitted online through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI modes. A big relief is that the major part of this fee is refunded after you appear for the Stage I exam:

  • General / OBC / EWS Candidates: ₹500/- (An amount of ₹400 will be refunded back to your account after appearing in the CBT exam).

What is the Selection Process for Railway Technicians?

  • Computer Based Test (CBT): An objective type online test carrying 100 questions for 100 marks. The duration will be 90 minutes, and 1/3 negative marking will apply for every wrong answer.
