What is the Selection Process and Examination Pattern?

The selection process consists of two main stages. Stage 1 is a Written Competitive Examination, and Stage 2 is Document Verification (DV). The final merit list will be prepared based purely on the marks obtained in your written competitive test.

The exam contains two mandatory papers consisting of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs). There is a negative marking of 1/3rd marks for every wrong answer, and you need to score at least 40% qualifying marks in each paper (35% for SC/ST candidates).

    • Paper I (General Awareness & General Studies): This paper carries 150 marks and time duration is 1.5 hours. It tests history of Rajasthan, Indian national movement, mental ability, current affairs, and general science.
    • Paper II (Subject Concerned & Special Pedagogy): This paper carries 300 marks and time duration is 3 hours. It focuses deeply on your chosen post-graduate subject and specialized teaching knowledge required for teaching specially-abled students.
