RBI Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) Recruitment 2026: Apply Now

The **Reserve Bank of India (RBI)** has officially invited online applications for the post of **Junior Engineer (Civil and Electrical)** for the panel year 2026. This is a premium opportunity for Diploma and Degree holders to work with India's central bank. What is the RBI JE 2026 Recruitment?

RBI conducts this recruitment to find talented engineers who can manage and maintain their office buildings and residential quarters. For 2026, a total of 11 vacancies have been announced (07 for Civil and 04 for Electrical). Selected candidates get a starting basic pay of Rs. 47,700, but with all allowances, the gross monthly salary in a city like Mumbai can go up to Rs. 91,309 per month! Are you eligible for RBI JE 2026?

The eligibility criteria for RBI is a bit strict regarding marks. Please check if you qualify:

  • Age Limit (as on 01-04-2026): Between 20 to 30 years. (Candidates born between 02-04-1996 and 01-04-2006). SC/ST/OBC gets usual age relaxation.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Diploma Holders: 3-year Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with minimum 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD) + 2 years of experience.
    • Degree Holders: B.E/B.Tech in Civil/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics with minimum 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) + 1 year of experience.

The fee is non-refundable, so ensure you meet all criteria before paying:

General / OBC / EWS
Rs. 450/- (Exam Fee + Intimation Charges)
SC / ST / PwBD / Staff
Rs. 50/- (Intimation Charges only)

How to apply online for RBI JE?

The application process is hosted on the IBPS portal. Follow these steps to fill your form correctly:

  1. Visit the official RBI website www.rbi.org.in and go to the "Opportunities@RBI" section.
  2. Click on "Current Vacancies" and then "Vacancies".
  3. Find the link for "Recruitment for the Post of Junior Engineer 2026".
  4. Click on "Click here for New Registration" and enter basic details.
  5. Upload your scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration.
  6. Fill your educational details and work experience carefully.
  7. Pay the application fee online using UPI, Debit Card, or Net Banking.
