Who is eligible for Assistant Boring Technician post?
Eligibility is the most important part. For this recruitment, you must have two things: the right education and a valid PET score.
- PET Requirement: You must have appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and have a valid score card. Candidates with zero or negative marks in PET will not be shortlisted.
- Education: You must have passed Class 10th (High School) from a recognized board.
- Technical Qualification: A certificate in ITI from NCVT/SCVT in trades like Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Wireman, or Nalkoop Mechanic is mandatory.
- Age Limit: As of July 1, 2026, your age should be between 18 to 40 years. Relaxations are provided for SC/ST/OBC and ex-servicemen as per UP govt rules.

- Login using your PET 2025 Registration Number via OTP or Personal Details.
- Your basic details will be auto-filled from the PET database. Verify them carefullly.
- Upload your updated photo and signature if required.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 25 (same for all categories).
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
What is the Exam Pattern and Syllabus?
The selection is based on a main written exam. The paper will be of 100 marks with a duration of 120 minutes (2 hours). Please note there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- Part 1: Subject Related (Technical) Knowledge - This is the core part covering basic physics, mechanics, and trade tools.
- Part 2: Computer & IT Literacy - Basics of MS Office, Internet, and Cyber Security.
- Part 3: General Knowledge - History, Geography, and UP Specific GK.
