What Details Should You Verify on the Call Letter?

As soon as you print your hall ticket, please verify all printed text properly. Sometimes minor spelling mistake can create huge trouble at the entry gate. Check the following information thoroughly:

  • ✔ Candidate's Full Name & Father's Name
  • ✔ Roll Number, Application Number, and OTR Number
  • ✔ Category & Gender status
  • ✔ Scanned passport photo and signature visibility
  • ✔ Exact Exam Date (31st May 2026) and reporting timeline
  • ✔ Allotted Examination Centre Name and full postal address

Advice: If you see any mismatch in your photograph or if your name is spelled wrong, immediately contact the UPPSC helpdesk or portal support to get it rectified before the test day.

Which Mandatory Documents to Carry on the Exam Day?

The commission is very strict about security checkpoints. If you forget to bring the required items, the security guards will not allow you inside the campus. Make a small kit with these below documents a night before:

  • Printed Admit Card: Carry at least one clear hard copy printout of your online downloaded admit card. Keep an extra backup copy just in case.
  • Two Passport Photos: Bring two recent passport-size photographs. They must match with the photograph you uploaded during the registration form filling.
  • Original Identity Proof: You must carry a physical original photo ID proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License. Photocopies saved on mobile phone will not be considered valid.
  • ID Card Photocopy: Along with the original identity card, you also need to bring a clear photocopy of that exact same ID proof to submit at the desk.
  • Black/Blue Ball Point Pen: Since the exam is in offline OMR sheet mode, carry good quality black or blue ball point pens for circling the answers. Gel pens are strictly prohibited.

Note on Entry Gate Timings: Candidates can enter the examination center starting 1 hour 30 minutes prior to the test. The main entry gates will be closed permanently exactly 45 minutes before the starting time (i.e., gates will close at 08:45 AM). No entry will be given after that, even by a minute delay.
