If you are looking for a central government job, this is one of the most flexible exams because it has posts for everyone—whether you have passed 10th, 12th, or Graduation.
The online application started on 13 April 2026. Initially, there was some confusion about the seat count, but the commission has now clarified that there are 2,919 revised vacancies across various departments like the Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Defence, and more. How many vacancies are available and for whom?
The total 2,919 vacancies are split into three levels. You can apply for multiple posts, but you have to pay the fee and fill the form separately for each post category.

- Intermediate Level (12th Pass) LDC, DEO, Laboratory Assistant
- Graduate Level (Degree) Scientific Assistant, Auditor, ASO, JE
What is the Eligibility and Age Limit?
The age is calculated as on 01-01-2026. Most posts have an age limit of 18 to 30 years, but some specific posts might allow up to 35 or 37 years.
Application Fee: The fee is very nominal—only ₹100 for General/OBC candidates. Women, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are completely exempted from paying any fee!
What is the Exam Pattern for Phase 14?
The selection is based on a single Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by a Skill Test (if required for the post) and Document Verification. The exam consists of 100 questions (200 marks) to be solved in 60 minutes.

How to fill the SSC Phase 14 Online Form 2026?
SSC has moved to a new website. Even if you have registered before on the old site, you might need to do New OTR (One Time Registration).
- Visit the new official website: ssc.gov.in.
- Complete your One-Time Registration (OTR) with your Aadhaar and basic details.
- Login and click on "Apply" under Phase-XIV/2026/Selection Posts.
- Select the Post Code you want to apply for (check the notification PDF for codes).
- Capture your Live Photograph using the website's camera (no pre-clicked photos allowed).
- Upload signature, pay fee, and take a printout.
