What is the New RRB NTPC Undergraduate Revised Schedule?

The Railway Recruitment Board have revised the exam timeline to finish the process smoothly. Earlier, the exam was supposed to go on until 21st June, but now there will be no exam on 21st June 2026. When Will the City Intimation Slip and Admit Card Release?

Railway always releases the exam city information and admit cards in a phased manner depending on your specific exam date. This helps candidates to arrange travel plans, specially for SC/ST students who get free travel pass. Here is the official timeline rule you need to remember:

  • Exam City Intimation Slip: It comes out exactly 10 days before your exam date. For example, if your exam is on 13th June, your city slip is live on 3rd June 2026.
  • RRB NTPC CBT 1 Admit Card: You can download your main hall ticket exactly 4 days before your exam date. So for the 13th June shift, it will be downloadable from 9th June 2026.

What are the RRB NTPC CBT 1 Shift Timings?

The online examination will be conducted in three different shifts across approximately 200 exam centers in the country. You must reach the venue before the gate closing time because entry will strictly not be allowed even if you get late by a single minute. Please note down the timings carefully:

What is the Exam Pattern for RRB NTPC UG CBT 1?

Understanding the weightage of subjects is very important to score high marks and secure your seat for the CBT 2 stage. The first stage is qualifying in nature, but the competition is high because lakhs of candidates are appearing. The paper structure is given below:

  • General Awareness: 40 Questions (40 Marks)
  • Mathematics: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 Questions (30 Marks)
  • Total Questions: 100 Objective Type Questions
  • Negative Marking: Be careful! There is a 1/3rd negative marking for every wrong answer you mark.

How to Check and Download Revised Exam Notice or Admit Card?

Candidates can easily access their portal details by following these simple steps on the official website. Make sure your internet connection is stable while downloading:

  1. Visit the main portal of Railway recruitment at rrbapply.gov.in or check your specific regional RRB webpage (like RRB Chandigarh, RRB Mumbai, etc.).
  2. Look for the notification section on the homepage showing "CEN 07/2025 updates".
  3. Click on the link for "Exam City and Date Intimation link" or "Download E-Call Letter".
  4. Enter your correct login credentials like Registration Number and Date of Birth (Password).
  5. Your city slip or admit card will open on the screen. Download the PDF and take a clear color printout.

Important Note: RRB has made Aadhaar-based biometric verification mandatory at the exam center. You must bring your original Aadhaar card with you. Also, keep your Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system on that day to avoid biometric failure.
