What is the eligibility for Junior Assistant?
Before paying the fees, please check if you meet these two main criteria as on 1 April 2026:
1. Educational Qualification:
You must be a Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
Important: Distance learning, correspondence, and part-time courses are not eligible for this post. Regular degree is mandatory.
2. Age Limit:
Your age should be between 21 to 30 years. Specifically, you should not be born before 02/04/1996 and not later than 01/04/2005 (both dates inclusive).
What will be the Selection Process and Salary?
The selection is based on two stages. First, there is an Online Examination (200 marks, 120 minutes) covering English, Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, and Computer skills. After that, there is a Personal Interview for those who clear the cutoff.
Salary Details: The starting basic pay is ₹20,000 per month. Including all allowances, your total monthly salary will be approx ₹32,000 to ₹35,200 depending on the city of posting. You will also get benefits like PF, Gratuity, Mediclaim, and Performance Linked Incentives.
