Why did BSEH Postpone the HTET Exam from June to July?

Many students were wondering why the board suddenly changed the dates. The newly appointed chairperson clarified that it was strictly due to administrative arrangements and logistical issues. Also, another major exam from the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) was falling on the same dates in June. If both exams happened together, it would create a massive problem for students who filled both the forms. To make the process fair and transparent, the board decided to postpone it to July 4 and 5.

How to Download the HTET Admit Card 2026 Online?

The hall ticket is the most crucial document to enter the examination hall. The board will release the admit card at least 7 to 10 days before the exam on their official portal. You can easily download it by following these simple steps:

• First, go to the official website of Haryana Board at bseh.org.in.
• On the homepage, look for the link that says "Download HTET Admit Card 2026".
• Click on it and enter your login credentials like Registration ID and Password.
• Submit the details, and your admit card will open on the screen.
• Check your name, exam center details, and timing carefully, then take a clear printout.

What is the Exam Pattern for Haryana TET?

There is no change in the syllabus or the exam structure, so you don't need to worry about anything new. The exam will be offline and consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 150 marks. There is no negative marking, which is a big relief for everyone! You need to score at least 60% (90 marks out of 150) if you belong to the General category to qualify the test. For SC/PH candidates of Haryana, the qualifying mark is 55% (82 marks).
